Where do prices come from?
From the Albion Online Data Project (Europe server). Players running the AODP client upload market data as they browse the market in game. Every price shows a freshness dot: under 30 min, under 3 h, under 24 h, grey = older. If nobody has scanned an item recently, the price can be stale — always sanity-check big trades in game.
Buy vs sell prices
- Sell price (min) — the cheapest sell order. You pay this when buying instantly; you must undercut it to sell fast.
- Buy price (max) — the highest buy order. You receive this when selling instantly; you must outbid it to buy via buy order.
Taxes & fees
Sales tax is 8% (4% with Premium) and is paid on every sale. Placing an order (buy or sell) costs a 2.5% setup fee. All calculators apply these using the mode you pick in settings.
Return rates
Resource return rate (RRR) = 1 − 1 / (1 + Σbonus). Base city bonus 0.18 → 15.2%. A city's bonus item (+0.15) → 24.8%, bonus resource refining (+0.40) → 36.7%. Focus adds +0.59 → up to 53.9%. The daily Activities bonus adds +0.10 (silver day) or +0.20 (gold day) on top. Islands have no base bonus (37.1% with focus). These modifiers are read from the game files, so they stay correct after patches.
Item database
Names, tiers, enchantments, recipes and farm data are generated from the official game data dumps.
After a game patch run npm run data:update to refresh everything.
